Call for Scientific Papers – Summit 2027

3rd International Summit on Digital Literacy and Social Inclusion: Connecting Bridges

19–21 January 2027 · Santarém, Portugal and Online

CIAC-PLDIS | Polytechnic University of Santarém invites researchers, academics, students, professionals, and members of the national and international scientific community to submit scientific papers to the 3rd International Summit on Digital Literacy and Social Inclusion: Connecting Bridges.

The scientific paper presentation sessions will take place online on 19 January 2027. Presentations may be delivered in Portuguese, English, or Spanish.

Important Dates

• Scientific paper submission deadline: 9 December 2026
• First-round review results: by 18 December 2026
• Submission of revised papers: 18 December 2026 – 4 January 2027
• Final acceptance notifications: by 8 January 2027
• Scientific sessions programme announcement: 12 January 2027
• Presentation video submission deadline: 14 January 2027
• Online scientific sessions: 19 January 2027

Main Submission Requirements

All submissions must:

• Be full scientific papers;
• Be between 6 and 10 pages, including references and appendices;
• Use the official Summit template;
• Be submitted in DOCX format;
• Follow APA Style, 7th edition;
• Be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere;
• Be written in Portuguese, English, or Spanish, with the title, abstract, and keywords also provided in English.

Each paper may have a maximum of 5 authors. Each author may contribute to a maximum of 4 submissions.

All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Presentation and Publication

Accepted papers must be presented online on 19 January 2027, through a pre-recorded video presentation with a maximum duration of 10 minutes.

All accepted and presented papers will be published in the Summit Proceedings as an e-book, with a dedicated ISBN and an individual DOI assigned to each paper.

Up to four Scientific Excellence Distinctions will also be awarded, recognising one outstanding paper in each thematic area.

Free Participation

Participation in the Summit is completely free of charge, with no registration, submission, presentation, or attendance fees.
