My scientific professional profile and career as a Full Professor in Communication Multimedia with Tenure/Aggregation in eLearning is fully dedicated to collaborate in an ambitious HEI environment emphasizing excellency and inclusion through the development and coordination of innovative learning courses (e.g. Master Degree on Digital Resources in Education; and, the unique Inclusive Course for people with disabilities” Digital Literacy for the Labor Market Inclusion”).
My responsibility in Polytechnic University of Santarém is focused on different domains, holding a challenging position:
MANAGEMENT: Pro-President for Innovation ,responsible for the development of innovative activities, capable to boost the linkage between academia and Society; development and submission of an EU University Alliance (ACE2-EU) , with the leadership of IPSantarém; leader of Educational Technology and e-girls in ICT in METARED; Co-Founder Member of RIAL Lusophony HEI network;
R&D: Communication Multimedia and Inclusion with a diversity and leadership in different EU Projects ; promoting presential and virtual Conferences on emerging R&D subjects; Juries; Coordinate the Research UI_IPSantarem and Research Hub in Digital Literacy and Social Inclusion; Creation and set up new protocols to enrich internationalization; creation of technological resources; articles and publications; peer review; EU evaluator (EX2006C194693) in ICT Ethics Reviewer MSCA; ITC Horizon calls; Knowledge PHD Scholarship and Post-Doc.
Full Professor: focused on OPEN learning opportunities and activities created in a flexible and innovative atmosphere.
I use the most up to date pedagogical approaches (active learning and PBL) cross-cutting my experience as a presential Professor at IPSantarém and virtual invited Professor at the Open University.
Moreover, the Research Group is going to apply a new P.H.D in the field of Digital Communication that answer the needs of SOCIETY in na entrepreneurial environment.
